what a difference a year makes

One year ago, I was not on Facebook.  Now, almost 500 long lost and new friends later, I don't know how I made it without it.  It is such a great tool that helps me so much all the time.  Long lost friends give you so much perspective on life.  It is just such a good place to keep connected.

One year ago, I wasn't much into anything about social media.  Now, I have a blog, moderate 8 Yahoo! Forums, administer 2 Facebook groups, administer multiple groups on BigTent, and tweet for 3 groups including my personal twitter account.  This year has truly been an eye-opener for me regarding what I know about myself.

I am happy to have the tools that I use.  I consider myself a tool fanatic.

Jumping in feet first

So, it is 2009.  I have resisted blogging for as long as my 2nd blessing has been alive (about 4 years).  I gave in last year, and I joined Facebook for work of all things.  Well, almost 500 friends and 11 months later, I am about to embark on a new endeavor, blogging.

I have been sharing my world by micro-blogging via Facebook and Twitter for almost a year, as well as creating personal e-newsletters for four years.  All of those tools are great, but let's see what I can do with the blogging world.  Bear with me as a devour yet another tool.

Here is my bio:

1) Best friend with a man for 20+ years and married to him for 10+ years
2) Over-achiever with four blessings and two of them being twins
3) Believer in Christ
4) Devourer of tools
5) Lover of family, friends, and knowledge

Blog Definitions
  • blessings - children in my life
  • passions - projects of love for familiy and friends
  • endeavors - projects using my skills in the workplace
  • aspirations - career goals
That is about it for today, so I hope to get to know you better, blogger.
